This series was aired in my country long time ago.
It was a good series, but not famous. Until today I just found out that it's a Taiwan's production.
Starring : David Chiang
It has a very good theme song by Luo Wen

No ATV did not produce this serial, I believe they bought the rights to it and probably just aired it because of the HK actors. Other than David Chiang there is also Anita Lee Yuan Wah, Koo Kuan Chung, Ng Seen Mei (I never knew she did any Taiwan productions), Ou Hoi Ling (ex ATV actress), and Siu Chuen Yung (ex ATV and TVb actor).

Because of the title, I thought that this series was linked to Ma Yong Zhen, but from wha I see in the clip, it has nothing to do with him. Any information about the other actors ? The only one I recognized was Goo GOon Chung...

Ma's assassination is mentioned as a TTV 1992 series on the David Chiang's page on the English wikipedia.

I just realized that I had already saw this series on a site, but when I had searched the English translation of the title, I had found " Blood brothers " instead of " Ma's assassination " and it seems to me that the title Blood brothers fits more the Chinese words, since they are the same as the Shaw Brothers' movies with the same title, unless I'm mistaken. Can anyone confirm that the pinyin title of Ma's assassination is " Ci Ma " , please, in order that I know if the series that I found on the site is really the one I'm looking for, please ?
Thanks for any answer.

If it's the same story as the Shaws' one, I suppose that David Chiang plays the role that was played by Chen Kuan Tai in the movie...

The story then inspired the film Blood Brothers (Ti Lung and David Chiang in 1973) and also Blood Brother (Tou Ming Zhuang in 2007)

Thanks for any answer. Will let you know if I find it. I watched a bit of this series, but then I was too busy with school that I didn't finish it. I heard it's really good.

wait...on youtube it's said it is ATVproduction. Wikipedia said it's Taiwan's production. Anybody can help? i don't know if it applies to this specific series, but in the 1990s, ATV did have joint ventures with the taiwan studios (sorry, i'm unclear as to which one(s))--both would benefit with sharing the costs of production and being able to have a wider cast by pooling together their actors. it's why, for example, heroine of the yangs starred amy chan sau man and jiao enjun.
