@galvatron thanks for the info! TVB can be very brutal when they decide that you're no longer leading material/of value to them. i'm glad felix found work elsewhere! i never knew the exact reason why lydia sum and a bunch of other actors left TVB to join ATV, but i suspect that being overlooked, pushed aside, undervalued had a lot to do with that. and TVB has always had a reputation of being brutal in those ways to their employees. siuyiuYou are right. Jimmy Au was a example,I heard that he have some argument with the top boss in TVB which resulting him relegated from first male role to Kelefe role . Do you know Some TVB actress went to act in Category 3 or soft porn after they failed to sign for ATV.

Cast : Michael Miu Kiu Wai ; Barbara Yung Mei Ling playing two roles and I forgot the others. I watched it a while ago, so, I don't remeber the plot very well. Barbara plays a rich girl and a less rich girl who know martial arts. After several episodes, it's discovered that they hare twin sisters and have been separate when they were babies. There are fights in what I remember to eb clans war or something like that. I send you the link to yeasia summary, but I don't remember that it was so hilarious nor so romantic as they describe it :

HK actresses have always been very pragmatic.

There is another series with felix Wong called The way of no return, but I don't know if it's an ATV one or from another company.
galvatron prime, if you are interested in this Felix Wong's series, you can find it here :
I bought it from Taiwan with another title : Necessary. It seems that there are 31 episodes. The package is on its way to me, so, I can't tell you anything else about it...

Sorry for dragging up this thread, but I would like to share my two favourite movies in the Chinese language. One of them is Tian Zhuangzhuang's The Blue Kite (《藍風箏》), which is still banned in China for its honest depiction of ordinary lives during Mao's Era. I like it even more than To Live or Farewell My Concubine. Unfortunately, the only HD release is from Japan; otherwise, it's available on DVD in the West. You can watch it here on Youtube:
The other one is from Taiwan, Edward Yang's A Brighter Summer Day (《牯嶺街少年殺人事件》), which is available on a Criterion blu-ray.
