LOL .This movie is so silly. They are trying to show that Tai Chi is equal in fighting capability with Wing Chun(or at least second best after Wing Chun) and that it was an earthquake that stopped the fight. And they put Bruce Lee in the very same movie that has Tai Chi in it . In the real world however Bruce Lee didn't think highly of Tai Chi. By right if the Bruce Lee character in the movie really has the same attitude as the real life Bruce Lee, he would go and kick the butt of the Tai Chi master. In the book Bruce Lee:A Life by Matthew Polly, Bruce Lee was asked about Tai Chi by someone named Alcindor and Bruce Lee told him to "forget Tai Chi" and called it "for old men in parks" . Here's the page. This is what happens when people who make movies don't do proper research. However there are pictures of Bruce Lee doing Tai Chi poses which doesn't really change the fact that Bruce Lee thought negatively about it. (FYI, I'm not a fan of WC anyway)

There are many kinds of Taichi, not just one kind of taichi. The kind that makes you sleep is for health benefits only, not really for combat.
Ip Man 4 cannot be as ridiculous as Ip Man: Kung Fu Master. Ip Man versus 70 men with shiny axes and beating them all single-handed without breaking a sweat, Ip Man wearing Batman mask, Ip Man meets Hong Qigong-lookalike. Should not be called Ip Man but Ip Super Man or Ip Bat Man.
