Hong Kong veteran actress Lee Heung-kam passes away at 88 4th January 2021 – (Hong Kong) Hong Kong veteran actress Lee Heung-kam (born 13ty January 1932 in Shunde, Guangdong, China) passed away today at home at 88. She was a veteran Cantonese opera and TVB actress from Hong Kong. She joined the entertainment industry when she was 16 years old. Lee was briefly married to Cantonese opera star, Siu Chung-kwan with whom she had a daughter. She divorced in 1957, her ex-husband and daughter left for Canada. From 1990 to 2006, Lee worked for TVB rival ATV, but she had since returned to TVB. She has a younger brother, Lee Sue-gai. Lee still insisted on filming dramas in her later years. In January 2010, while she was filming dramas for 10 hours a day for four consecutive days, she accidentally fell down and injured her face. She spent her birthday in the hospital. In March 2011, it was rumoured that she suffered that she suffered from Parkinson’s disease. I remember her as Mie Jue Shitai - Zhou Zhirou's teacher in HSDS 1986. May she rest in peace!

I remember her most as Shek Chi Hong's mom in "Who's the Winner" I, II (ATV). A very great actor. Sigh.
