Really beautiful, and great calligraphy on the paintings too. Surprised that you can do Chinese painting, but maybe I shouldn't be. The Condor paintings look nicer than some of the Jin Yong cover art, lol. I actually started from calligraphy. Then I found out that as long I could control the brushstroke, then I could do Chinese painting. Then I took the 大写意 Chinese painting lessons. I started with birds and flower, but I found out that I'm not good in painting flowers, but pretty good in painting birds. Later on I tried to paint eagles, and my teacher was very surprised and happy to see how I'm interested in eagles. It's such a kind of destiny that I could find this teacher, who is well-trained by a famous Chinese painter (Cheng Wanpeng) who was specialized in painting eagles. My teacher's grandmaster (Li Kuchan), was also a very famous Chinese painter who painted many eagles. That's how I started to concentrate on eagles paintings. But then my interest in wuxia makes me eager not only to paint eagles but also the swordsmen Basically if you can do calligraphy, then you can do Chinese paintings. I would not say it's very easy, but as long as you're patient enough, then you can do it!

This is another swordsman painting on 4K paper, using pencil color and pastel. The clothing is from an anime, the sword is also randomly taken from anime, the hair and face shape is from Ayunga, the eyelids and nose are from mine, lip and eyebrows are my imagination Well, don't blame me...I was trying to create a new swordsman character though LOL

Such beautiful paintings !
You made my day !
You should contact the companies that release the wuxia series and ask them to buy your paintings, they are superb !
One of my friends on another forum has been approached by companies such as 88 Films (who release Shaws' movies on blu rays) and Eureka (for Jackie Chan's and Sammo Hung's movies, if I'm not mistaken) and he draws amazing covers and posters for their releases ! Maybe you should try too.

I could only paint swordsman to my liking, therefore I'm afraid if I contact such companies and they ask me to paint some swordsman that I'm not interested to paint, then I will be in trouble.

Yang Guo With an Eagle Nice. I like the gongbihua one a bit more. Maybe it's more suited to the subject. Shouldn't it be "Ayunga with an eagle"?

LOL, actually because last time on Zhihu I posted a question to ask who is the most handsome swordsman in JY's universe, and many people answered YG is the most handsome one. Many of them quoted from the novel about YG's face description. I honestly could not help but imagine the perfect cast for YG might be Ayunga. The reason is: YG had distinctive facial features, sharp, gentle at the same time melancholy sad eyes. (this is the description of when Guo Xiang saw YG's face.) Ayunga has the perfect eyes for YG for me though!
