I bet if the Smiling Proud Wanderer world was real, Zhong Kui would be pissed as hell that somebody made one particular sword art like this with references to him. In real life martial arts there are moves named after gods. Guan Dao moves in various kung fu styles are named after Guan Yu. Same for staff moves bearing names which refer to Sun Wu Kong. In the fictional SPW world, however,(and to my knowledge) we have the self-castrating Pixie Jian Fa. I think the Zhong Kui figure is strongly connected to Pixie Jian Fa. For starters, a Jian is used like how Zhong Kui uses a Jian. Not a very strong point because other Taoist characters also use Jian. But here's more, we have a move(from the fake Pixie) called Eye-picking Zhong Kui and even Pixie must be named after him since he is well known to exorcise evil, hence the name. Did you also notice that when LPZ uses the real Pixie in the novel not one move is referred to by name? Probably JY wanted to avoid making any further connections to Zhong Kui?
"Lin Pingzhi extended his right hand and with a matchless speed, pressed on the wrists of the two Qingcheng disciples who were attacking his chest to turn their hands around and pushed on the elbows of the two Qingcheng disciples who were chopping at his lower body. Four miserable cries were heard as two of them fell over. These two people were originally attacking Lin Pingzhi's chest, but when their wrists were pressed, their long swords turned around and pierced their own stomachs.
"Evil Resisting Sword Art, stance number two and stance number three! Did you see it clearly?" Lin Pingzhi called out. "

I don't hold my own theory to be 100% correct but something to think about.
