Hope this fits in this thread And now more music from the same musician. She plays the Swordsman theme first and then the TVB State of Divinity 1996 theme at 1:15. Why couldn't the TVB 1996 one sound as nice as hers !? Anyway, in the ears of the westerners she is just playing random Chinese songs but to those who know Xiao Au Jiang Hu, we can appreciate the songs more.

I will recommend older songs since I'm exploring them now, both Cantopop and Mandopop. I have heard this song many times before, but it is only today that I paid close attention to the lyrics - and they are quite poignant indeed! I have always thought the song was about the difficulties of a particular route they took, but I now realise the "travel" the song referred to was the path of life.

Does every girl think she is Ren Yingying now, wearing a veil while playing? LOL!

Today is Mid-Autumn Festival, so I'm recommending a song about moonlight from a Singaporean singer from the 1990s, Mavis Hee (許美靜), Moonlight in the City (《城裡的月光》). It's quite a famous tune so I believe many must have heard this song before. Happy Mid-autumn and enjoy the full moon!

You remember the TV series? I didn't really follow it as I was busy with my studies then, but all my classmates who did loved it. Mavis Hee sang another theme song for another Singaporean TV series, Living by Night (《都是夜歸人》). Only a few places could get Singapore TV transmissions. But I don't know your town or your city, so I can't reveal much to your sect enemies.

I didn't watch it that long ago but the ads that was running on TV when it was re-aired in 2000 was played along with that song.

This performance is very energetic, but I am more used to Roman Tam's 1980's version. It was through Roman Tam's song that I learned of Yue Fei's poem. As I always say, watching TV is good for you!

I think Roman Tam's song Man Jiang Hong is also better But this one is in Mandarin Chinese, more related to me cause I could understand it. Not to mention the English translation
