I am watching this series now. Dodo Cheng played as a cheerful mischief Lv Siniang. Simon Yam looked great on this series. Although some of the characters in this series also appeared in ATV Dynasty 1980, the story is different. Both are fictions, no need to compare both are good in their own way. Compare to ATV Dynasty, the setting and properties in this series looked cheap Somehow the actors and actresses did a great job and make this series worth to watch. Those interested can see it here : www.56.com/u35/v_NDM4MDAwODg.html

I personally thought this serial moved at a slow pace. They could have shortened the length a little, and it's funny because this serial is not even long. Compared to Dynasty, this Lu Siniang does not know martial arts and ends up becoming a disciple of the one armed nun (ex Princess Chang Ping) and learns martial arts later. Moreover Bai Tai Guan seems more likeable here (or is it because it's Austin playing this role?) and a genuinely good person. This serial also has a happy ending and not all the characters die; unlike in Dynasty.

Austin Wai looks good too LSN didn't know martial art at the beginning, but she's so eager to learn martial art. I'm okay with the pace, but I personally prefer to see LSN and Yong Zheng hahaha

If I understand well, this is the same story as Legend of Yung Ching with Adam Cheng and Jade Leung ; in this one, Lu Siniang already knows martial arts and is a kind of expert in it at the beginning of the story.
