I remember this series....Miu Kiu Wai as Li Shi Min, and he had a love interest with Barbara Yung. He and Felix Wong were friends....which was good after you saw LOCH 1983 Miu's acting was awesome. Felix Wong had a tragic ending, if I'm not mistaken.

I recently bought it, but still haven't had time to watch it, since I'm dived in The assassins with Adam Cheng...
But I saw some trailers of The foundation in other TVB vcds, and it looked so interesting that that's the reason for which I bought it...

I have heard of this TV series but have not watched it. There exists a Xuan Wu Gate 玄武門 in the Forbidden City in Beijing, China - it is the North Gate. I made a point of visiting this gate in Beijing, and up my return, I found that the series was set in the Tang Dynasty and during that time, the capital was in Xi'an, not Beijing. Ah well, same name, wrong city, wrong dynasty.

But I was quickly realized that it couldn't be the same Xuanwumen! Probably Beijing was just a small village during Tang Dynasty.
