Not an illustration, but here is a postcard that came with the first volume of Huang Yi's new novel 《龍戰在野》(Dragon Battles in the Wild):

Huang Yi just began publishing this novel in May of this year. There are three volumes out now, and a new volume is being published every month. I think there will be 20 volumes total. This is book two of his High Tang Trilogy (盛唐三部曲), the first book being the one he finished last year 《日月當空》(Sun and Moon in the Sky). I'm reading Gu Long right now and I'll post two illustrations from the book. The style may not suit Jin Yong or Liang Yusheng but I find it Gu Long-esque. I don't know if the artists are from Mainland or imported from the Taiwan editions. I believe they are Mainland Chinese.

siuyiu: atumiwa 青 is most commonly translated as "indigo" in english, to match the 7 colours of the rainbow that isaac newton insisted there (he did it for religious reason; those in the art world know there are 6 colours of the rainbow). Mar 8, 2022 4:00:33 GMT

yenchin: Recently I was watching Archive 81, there was this scene where a character in a videofeed who suddenly extended her arm out of the screen to choke the guy watching it. It made me wondering: What would happen if the guy was trained in martial arts?
