I've got some books that have illustrations as well. I'll have to scan them.

Not an illustration, but here is a postcard that came with the first volume of Huang Yi's new novel 《龍戰在野》(Dragon Battles in the Wild): And here is the cover of the first volume: Huang Yi just began publishing this novel in May of this year. There are three volumes out now, and a new volume is being published every month. I think there will be 20 volumes total. This is book two of his High Tang Trilogy (盛唐三部曲), the first book being the one he finished last year 《日月當空》(Sun and Moon in the Sky). Check out the Huang Yi thread here for more info on these two novels.

The illustrations form Liang Yusheng's novel are superb and very realistic. Very good work.

I'm reading Gu Long right now and I'll post two illustrations from the book. The style may not suit Jin Yong or Liang Yusheng but I find it Gu Long-esque. I don't know if the artists are from Mainland or imported from the Taiwan editions. I believe they are Mainland Chinese.
