Xianxia for me, has been kind of here or there in my eyes. Yufeng brought up the point that alot of "xianxia" that we see are being translated like ATG or CD are not necessarily "xianxia". I personally started reading Battle Through the Heavens and then moving primarily to Coiling Dragon. It's hard for me to think of what came after but series I read/ am following are: A Martial Odyssey (probably the truest representation of xianxia on my list) Peerless Martial God, Martial God Asura, The Great Ruler, I Shall Seal the Heavens, Tales of Demons and Gods, Desolate Era, Wu Dong Qian Kun, Martial God Space, Ancient Godly Monarch, Stellar Transformations, and Swallowed Star.

i'm just too lazy to create a "general discussion" thread, so i'm trolling this thread.

i recently got roped into watching The Untamed, based on the novel modao zushi. besides the novelty of having the first gay romantic pairing (although the producers only hinted; too afraid of censorship, methinks), two things struck me after getting through the series: (1) if only lian nichang (LYS' BFMNZ) could've met and fallen in love with the lan sect leader, zewu-jun, both of them could've had happier endings; (2) there seems to have been some deliberate changes to the novel to make more parallels with JY's ROCH, espcially the whole 16 year separation, the one cold and aloof lead falling in love with the boistrous, rebellious other lead; i mean, hell, they even got the '95 gu-gu to do a cameo!
