Hmm interesting from reading earlier posts yeah I don't mind if another writer takes over to write a potential book 4. Edmund Shen-kun is a decent writer but for the English version the grammar is not that good and it needs an editor. Another thing that needs improvement is character development and interaction which needs to be going at a moderate pace. As for the harem its gotten too big to the point that they are getting less show time . The power ups or luck that is are too conveniently written that its makes things look easy in the storyline well sometimes. Well that is my opinion and crictism so far. The pros which I like about Edmund Shen writing of AMO English version is the fight scenes and techniques it shares similarities with Japanese Shonen type fiction which I find thrilling. It is also good to seen in a Wuxia/Xianxia novel where some female characters are badass which Avidfan does quite a good job on e.g. Celestial Alice maintains her composure even in dire situations and responds very well to it a true badass IMO. The MC pulls it for me most of all with his backstory and fights, his personality has gotten better however I do find annoying on some occasions. If Edmund Shen continues with Book 4 then great but if another writer takes over then at least consider my opinions please XD.

yufeng i have only briefly skimmed the first chapter of your translation of AMO, but i would like to say that i think you're so awesome and amazing to take on this huge project! i've tried my hand at translating, so i can appreciate the difficulty. the rate at which you're able to translate and post new chapters is absolutely astounding! i offer you a gazillion virtual kowtows! to all the fans of yufeng's AMO translation: i really hope you appreciate the difficulties of translating from chinese to english. and the difficulties are several-fold: (1) grammar--chinese doesn't have verb tenses, while english does, so you have to make sure the conjugations make sense; also, the order of words (i.e., sentence structure) is different between the two, so you have to rearrange things so that the text doesn't read like bad chinglish. (2) idioms, slang, other linguistic expressions--these differ and there aren't always equivalents between the languages. (3) ingrained cultural norms, prejudices, and idiosyncracies--too many to list, but just think about concepts like yin-yang and the five elements that form the basis of martial arts, chinese philosophy, and all that. how do you get that across to people who don't share the same cultural background? and it isn't just explaining it when it's exposition within the text. there are words and phrases that rely on understanding of such cultural concepts--how would a non-chinese know about this? anyway, i don't want to belabour the point. and this is not meant to reprimand anyone. but should you feel impatient about the long wait between chapters, please do pause a moment before badgering yufeng to appreciate the difficulties of producing a new chapter for your pleasure.

yufeng sorry, wish i could help but things are a little hectic at the moment! your readers will understand if you need a bit of a breather between posts to proofread and also to take a little break and relax! the pace of translation is phenomenal, but don't burn yourself out! your readers would rather you take a bit more time in between than abandon the project because it has caused ill-health--mental and/or physical.

I am not sure myself but my guess is yufeng aka Edmund Shen is both the translator and author.
