siuyiu I never heard of this drama before. Is this drama made by ATV or TVB? Is this drama have any kungfu or gun shoot out showdown scene? Do Michelle play 2 role in this drama ,if yes are they twin sister? Do Michele and Damian character in this drama know kungfu or use guy to kill enemy ? thanks to yenchin for providing a link for this series! have a look, @galvatron, and see if you like it. not kung-fu. the michelle & damian version produced by ATV. and yes, michelle plays 2 roles--they are not related. this is the second production where she plays two different roles. do you remember the other one? and yes, i've watched a few k-drama rom-coms and modern productions (because they are nice and short, unlike the epic historical dramas). i stopped watching because i was bothered by the underlying misogyny. keep adding to your list! do you think you'd be able to narrow it down to a top 10? siuyiuI don't remember to other one Michelle Yim play 2 roles. Can you tell me which one? Wuxia or non Wuxia? It hard to narrow it to top 10 The are other modern TV from TVB serial I like but I forgot the name . I also like TVB The Academy and the sequel On The First Beat and E.U and spin-off Lives on Omission. It a police drama start by Ron Nguyen,Samuel Chan Michelle Yim,Michael Tse,Michael Mui etc

@galvatron i'm just teasing--top 10s are not only hard but often inconsistent and can change with time!
the other series where michelle played two roles is in taichi master I, starring alex man. michelle played both the daughter of alex's sifu and the mongol princess. if you look in the "ATV YT vids" thread, you should find links--the whole series is up!

The same uploader seems to have the other episodes but didn't make them into a playlist. I just watched the first 10 mn of this episode and the scene with the protesters and the police when Damian Lau and Michelle Yim first meet is very similar to the scene of Storm in Shanghai when Adam Cheng meets his lover, while the scene with the martial arts streets performers and the police where Damian Lau meets Nora Miao is very similar to the scene in which Tsung Hua meets Shih Szu and Chen Kuan Tai in the Shaws' Lovers destiny.

@galvatron they've been battling since day 1! for a while, ATV seemed to have done a coup d'etat when a bunch of TVB stars walked out on TVB and joined ATV (in the 1990s, i believe). i don't know that their quality of programming increased that much--these stars brought with them a lot of baggage and bad habits picked up from TVB. but people all of a sudden were paying more attention to ATV. ah yes, i do remember the years when all of a sudden, TVB/ATV were doing more canto dubbing for taiwan/mainland productions than making their own. i love that these mandarin productions found a new audience (canto people in HK were quite resistent to mandarin productions, esp pre 1997), but alas, the HK productions started a slow decline. huh, i never thought that frankie lam and julian cheung looked alike. there are two sets of male actors that i constantly confuse one for the other. i'll see if i remember their names to post pics! siuyiu Just add some TVB only allow ATV gaming drama Whose The Hero aired after Ada Choi voice was dubbed. After that TVB even allow Malaysia Astro On Demand to air this drama( Astro On Demand are Malaysia paid station and TVB are partner in Malaysia and it air the drama same time as HK. Actually I only watch ATV modern drama like A Name named Desire by Simon Yam Beauty Pageant by Nick Cheung ,Annie Man Shanghai Godfathers by Nathan Chan Ting Wai Flaming Brothers by Patrick Tan Silver tycoon by Felix Wong ,Nick Cheung And other one start by Felix Wong and Lawrence Ng which I forgot the name. Do you like to watch Korea pop drama before . Honestly I never watch Korea drama . Is the Felix Wong's drama you are referring to called All out of love ?

as far as i know, felix wong has only ever worked for tvb. i couldn't find a tv series called way of no return; i did find the 2003 point of no return: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Point_of_No_Return_(TV_series)

siuyiu Felix Wong have went to ATV after he contact expired,it was rumour he unhappy to relegated to second lead and villains role like The Great Canal, Genghis Khan,Kay Moon Gwai Kuk etc. He also went to Taiwan before return to TVB in 1993,he also went to Taiwan during early 1990an. Felix Wong Was suppose To Start Along with Adam Cheng In TVB Instincts In 1994 but He Drop Himself out after It Was A supporting role,For Felix is Not money Is About His Pride. Ekin Cheng replace Him with his long hair debut and replace Andy Lau in Young And Dangerous role as Chan Ho Nam. after he become popular in That serial. It also rumour that Some TVB actresses in the age late 20 and early 30 during that time like Patrica Chong Ching Yee, Sheren Tang, Maggie Tsang was unhappy went given mother roles and promote then the younger actress like Noel Leung,Gigi Lai,Ada Choi,Athena Chu etc. Lydia Sum Also went To ATV after It offer The Double figure amount more than TVB. Other Went To ATV included Nathan Chan Ting Wai,I Heard That Nathan Was Lydia Sum God Son,is This True?

@galvatron thanks for the info! TVB can be very brutal when they decide that you're no longer leading material/of value to them. i'm glad felix found work elsewhere!
i never knew the exact reason why lydia sum and a bunch of other actors left TVB to join ATV, but i suspect that being overlooked, pushed aside, undervalued had a lot to do with that. and TVB has always had a reputation of being brutal in those ways to their employees.
