Eureka UK has released a reportedly Region-free Blu-Ray of Iron Monkey (1993) 《少年黃飛鴻之鐵馬騮》. This is a new 2K transfer, released in 2018, not the former 2009 Blu-ray issue. It also has both Cantonese and Mandarin audio tracks, together with English dubs (!). Somehow I must have missed this film, and looking at the trailer and at the later critical reception, it seems a classic. Has anyone watched it, and if so, how it is? I don't suppose anyone owned this particular Blu-ray release? I'm keen on acquiring this Blu-ray...any particular reason why I should... or not? P.S. Some sources say this is a Region B only Blu-Ray release...I'm confused.

Did you go to eureka site? Hence, you'll have all the specifications of the blu ray. I'm about to buy it myself. I had the French subbed dvd release, and I enjoyed it a lot when I watched it. People from another forum seem to be veyr eager to get thei blu ray due to its quality, so, if you can get it and it's region free, you should buy it without any hesitation.

Thanks for your reply. A pity that the Blu-ray seems Region B. So you'll be able able to enjoy your Blu-ray but not me. I was really keen because of Donnie Yen and the young girl who played Wong Fei Hung!
Sigh, the Miramax Region-free Blu-ray is cut.
