Wudang Sword / Wudang Yi Jian (WDYJ), is adapted from the last Liang Yusheng's novel. I managed to watch three series last night and I have to say, so far so good.
The series cast many ethnic minorities to act as Manchurian or Mongolian - which is really a good thing, since we could also tell how their looks enriched and give more diversity to the series.
And what makes me appreciate more this series: they used real Manchu language script during the scene of Nurhachi or scene in Manchu territory. This is the first film I've ever seen that the director put attention to these details. Also, the CGI is pretty decent and doesn't look cheap or annoying. The scenes in winter with snow are using real snow and shot in the northeastern region. The scenes in Wudang Sect and mountain, also done in Wudang Sect complex temples. the sceneries are beautiful. In case if you don't like the story, you can just enjoy the sceneries
