The new Xiaolong Nu seems to have received mixed reactions. Some say she's as good as Liu Yifei, others complain that her photo was 'shopped to look like Liu Yifei, and say she's worse than Michelle Chen(?!)

How can they say if they haven't seen it? Well, it's the internet. Regardless of fandom, every time there's a leak/poster/trailer there'd definitely be loads of comments (and if its some big franchise ridiculous speculations too). And if it's not up to some level of expectation the flames come in. It already happened during the Michelle Chen ROCH when her Xiaolong Nu photos came out. |

In the 2014 version, although I read lots of comments saying that the version doesn't have the best looking Xiao Long Nu and the battle scenes were mostly CGI graphics.....
the actor Chen Xiao - Yang Guo and Chen YanXi - Xiao Long Nu, they actually got married so I think that's kind of a positive of Jin laoshi novels.

I did a quick google search and people were still moaning in 2021. The series has already finished filming for awhile still hasn't come out? |
