The term of halal is very narrow and limited; While non-halal is very broad. Pig, frogs, deer, seafood (for muslims, only fish is halal), snail (escargot included), sea-cucumber, and so many others are consider as non halal. Cordyceps (冬虫夏草) is also non-halal. So yeah...basically a lot of non-halal food is enough to boost energy and strengthened neigong.

Well, if it's really based on their holy bible, any sea creatures without scale are haram and shall not be eaten. But again there's always scholars with different interpretation. Just like Tibetan Budhist monk could eat any kind of meat from large animals (cows, yaks, sheeps), but not chicken or fish.

Jews also avoid certain animals that are unclean. These are kosher rules that are similar to the halal rules.

Just like Tibetan Budhist monk could eat any kind of meat from large animals (cows, yaks, sheeps), but not chicken or fish. I will have to ask any Arab Muslims one day if squid is allowed in their diet since Malays Muslims are allowed to eat squid and even have that in their menus. According to two websites I found ,there seems to be a sort of "uruf" that allows squid because it "can be considered haram but because of local customs history(background?),it can be eaten"(hope my translation is correct). Whatever that means. So I shouldn't have generalized that all "Muslims can also eat squid, crab, prawn and stingray". Like you said, different interpretation.

This is weird. The very first post where I mentioned Yang Guo eating the snake gallbladders has disappeared. Seems the forum AI(artificial intelligence) likes deleting my messages.

To forum AI: Although I mentioned YG eating snake gallbladders, please understand that I also support YG snatching the whip from that dude beating the horse.

Jewish kosher is also very strict, but again...I've met many Jewish who don't eat prawn (not kosher) but eat lobsters
