wayback machine is an internet archive of internet sites. and among the many that they've screencap'd, both WM and WS are in their archives! now, don't get too excited--the screencaps are incomplete and only some of the links/contents of topics can be viewed. nonetheless, if there's anything you want to salvage/view, try your luck! the most "recent" screenshot of wuxiamaniathe most "recent" screenshot of wuxiasociety

I see the thread on my mooncakes in wuxiasociety, but the contents are not there. Alas! yeah, a lot of the threads are like that. although you should try to go to an earlier screencap date and see if you can open at least a partial portion of the thread--i've noticed for some that, for whatever reason, an earlier cap has contents.

Going back in time did help somewhat, actually. I found my thread on the Genghiz Khan exhibition, but not the contents. Alas!

Going back in time did help somewhat, actually. I found my thread on the Genghiz Khan exhibition, but not the contents. Alas! it's simultaneously hopeful and disappointing, i know. i haven't gone back to check the threads i started because majority of the info i have saved on personal files. but one of the threads i didn't get around to salvaging was the "inconsistencies of adaptations". sadly, only first pages were capped for them, so the lists will forever be incomplete. and i just don't have the energy to go back, re-read the books, and then re-watch the films/series. looking at the list of topics, we really had a lot of discussions on both forums, didn't we? from fun to profound.

I join wuxiamania from the link siuyiu provided in China history forum around Dec 2006 . according to the members list, temujin "joined" 10 jun 2005, so presumably that's the start date of WM. and my WS profile says i joined 6 mar 2007, which was soon after that forum got started because temujin contacted me about it. EDIT: and really sorry to hear none of your threads survived!

I plan to copy out some interesting threads and repost in their respective subforum. Is it ok with everyone?
